Renowned costume designer Paul Tazewell has unveiled the first mesmerizing glimpses of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Wicked, the beloved Broadway musical.
The reveal, made exclusively on Vanity Fair's Instagram this morning, offers a tantalizing preview of the fantastical world brought to life by Tazewell's visionary designs.
Starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, Wicked promises to captivate audiences with its spellbinding visuals and immersive storytelling. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film also stars Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, and Marissa Bode. Written by Winnie Holzman, the film is the first of a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed stage musical, which was based on the novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire.
